Thanks to all the club members (at least 10) who braved the breeze to venture to the Sailing Club this Friday.
I (Jeremy) was delayed elsewhere until nearly 4pm, by then most keen artists had wandered off home or taken shelter inside the cafe. I did catch a view of the famous Valenti hat still working away sheltered down amongst the boats.
Peter Knight said goodbye as I arrived, and in the Cafe, I found evidence of his mark making in Anne Benson's sketchbook. He had given advice on how to draw simple basic figures... I had difficult telling which were his and which were hers, so his short workshop must have done the trick.
There was only person left sticking it out in the elements by 4pm and I just can't remember her name as usual (apologies, Anne will email me no doubt), but then you could hardly see her face as her hair (very Kate Humble) was horizontal, blowing east towards Seaford Head.
