I hope you’re all keeping warm and safe in this cold spell – don’t go breaking any bones on the ice, (when you try skating on the frozen pond?).
Bring & Buy
This week’s meeting is a normal painting session but with the added opportunity to ‘Bring & Buy’ any artist’s bits and pieces – please make sure your for sale items are priced and have a box ready for your sales money. You can sell your items for your own pocket or donate to charity or of course to the club’s funds would always welcome a few more pennies.
With the sale in mind I’ve been going through my drawers to find a geometry set or at least a protractor – it could help me get proportions better on life and portrait drawing – I’ve looked everywhere but I can’t find any – if you have one spare I’d love to buy it off you.
Dec 22nd Nibbles and a bit of fun activity
The following week (the 22nd) is the last one before Christmas and we will be celebrating with a few nibbles and possibly some non-alcoholic (or alcoholic) drinks. Do bring something with you. With the success of last year’s joint picture which caught everyone’s attention at the exhibition, we might do another one and possibly some seasonable games.
Please do come and enjoy a chat with other club members before we break for the holiday.
PS: I still have a few 2018 programmes which haven’t been collected, if you haven’t had yours yet do pop in and collect please, I don’t want to have to post too many this year.
