Our first monthly competition seems to have been very popular with over 20 entries. Each month the winner will have a choice of useful art based prizes to select from, so have a go. Subject for February is ‘Reflections’. Pam framed her entry, but that is not a requirement for entry. The competition is just meant to be fun, informal and provide a challenge. Thank you to all those who entered. Jeremy
Message from our club secretary
I do hope everyone survived the storm this week. It's very calm at the moment but very wet underfoot. I've just been out to retrieve the recycling box and its contents from where the wind took from our bin store. Fortunately it isn't too full at this time of the week.
This week's subject is 'Still Life
This week's programme is 'Still Life', which will be a good opportunity to practice your drawing skills. If you have something suitable to draw or paint please bring it along.
If you still haven't made a decision to join us at the post-Christmas lunch at 'The View' (Seaford Head Golf Club) on March 4th, 12.30 for 1 o'clock only £16 per head for 2 courses. This is your last reminder. Please make sure I have your menu choices and money by this Friday latest.
AGM is on the 19th please come
Next week (19th) is our AGM. I know nobody likes AGMs but do please come. We have vacancies for committee members and we have 3 members who are up for election, Nina Gatward, Jan Firbank and John Perry. They will need YOUR votes. Anne
