Friday’s meeting on the 23rd will be an opportunity to finish your collage – mixed media ideas, or in my case an opportunity to improve on last week’s daubs! You’re welcome to do your own thing if you prefer.
Turner at Petworth
I’ve now got a good number coming on the trip to Petworth on Feb 6th for the Turner Exhibition. I’ll let everyone know in good time the arrangements for pick up and arrival back at the Downs.
If you haven’t yet told me you would like to go email me or give me a ring a.s.a.p.
Members have been asking about the Spring Lunch (after Christmas do) this year. It will be on March 6th at the Seaford Golf Club and I will be putting up a list very soon for people to let me know how many tickets they will require. I hope very shortly we will have a menu available for you to choose your options.
Hope to see you all on Friday – and do be careful if you’re out and about in these slippery conditions. A few of our members are not well at the moment and I wish them all a speedy recovery.
A trip to Petworth House to see the Turner exhibition, cost about £15 plus entry £12 each. If not many people want to go, it might be better to make your own way there, although the coach trip does make it a bit special!
John Virtue exhibition
Anyone interested in meeting up to view the John Virtue exhibition currently showing until April at the Towner (which I think is free) let Jeremy know.
