The coffee morning held today at Seaford Head Golf Club went well with 20 or so members & partners joining us. The Golf Club staff have made us very welcome and they had cakes on offer as well! Their facilities are really good (including the loos – which makes a lovely change - ) I for one look forward to using their facilities in the future.
Interactive acrylics demo on Friday
This week’s session (Friday 8th May) will be a demonstration by Richard Larkin of interactive acrylics which should open up these interesting materials and techniques. Please don’t bring any of your own work to do as his talk deserves our respect and concentration – especially as we are paying him to talk to us!
Exhibition space at the Golf Club, work required
We will also be accepting finished work to be considered for our new exhibition space at the Golf Club, I am hoping that Richard Larkin will help us choose the appropriate work to show off the club to its’ best.
If you have any queries about the entry requirements for the Golf Club Show do ring either myself on 01323 491008 or Jeremy on 01323 872923.
Summer programme on it's way
This week our committee will be meeting to finalise the paperwork for our annual club show and start working on the summer programme. I have already found a few places where we will be welcomed and we are exploring some new venues where perhaps we haven’t been to before. Watch this space!
See you Friday... Anne
PS: Don’t forget to watch Eggheads on Thursday 7th May, BBC2 at 6.00pm when Rosemary Drysdale’s team will be competing. She hasn’t let on if they won so we will have to wait till Thursday to find out.
