What lovely bright days we have had so far this week. Think I’ll leave it a bit longer till I go out to my ‘studio’ in the garden – at least till the frost is cleared from the roof anyway – any excuse really not to start painting!
We had a wonderful selection of Collage pictures worked on last Friday, I think we might have to include an small exhibition of collage works next year just to show off your creations. Our monthly challenge (My Family) was won – again- by Pam Carstairs! Sheila’s picture of her family - ‘the chimpanzee’ was much admired, it was also good to see other mediums including sculpture were again on show.
December Challenge – ‘COLD WEATHER’ you have till the 30th December to work on your entry – if you haven’t taken part before do have a go, you might win a prize! No rules but it would be good to see ‘new’ work on the theme on show.
Try a Big Brush
This week’s meeting (2nd December) is TRY A BIG BRUSH. If you only use 00 brushes come along and try out something bigger. I have lots of brushes I can bring for you to sample and will also bring some bigger paper to use as well. If you have brushes bigger than 3” bring them along, we can have a fun sessions trying things out.
Coffee morning is December 5th
Don’t forget next Monday (December 5th) is our monthly COFFEE MORNING at Seaford Head Golf Club. We can try out their newly arrived armchairs and sofas. Do bring other halves with you for our monthly get together.
